Howdy -
So the user conference kicked off this morning and right on schedule, nothing worked! People showed up with the "pre-conference" instructions in hand to try to install the ICA Client, trying to hook up to their servers back home, wanting to use our generic log in instead of their own named accounts so they could screw up my servers. I love the one guy who got in Jeff's face stating that our product was all screwed up because he kept getting kicked off VSO every few minutes. "Well, 90 people on VSO and "you are the only one getting kicked out?" sounds like you - fuck face. Sheesh.
At least I got to go to a very exciting breakfast to start my Monday off right! Lunchtime was even better. I never thought that walking around down on pearl street could be so fun! There is a Vintage shop that is hilarious to go and try on their Caps with the eye holes. Can't say enough about the game store!!
And what would a lunch time adventure be without seeing two 30-ish year olds at Starbucks engaged in Heavy "Head to Head competition of MAGIC the card game".. It was a mullet wearing brut versus his skinny "garth" looking dweebie geek girlfriend.. Well they did look pretty cute together. Glorious Good Times!
Next project... start taking my camera with me and getting pictures posted to each post. Some things are just not as funny when talking about them.
